Recipe: Cheesecake


Yum! Who doesn't love cheesecake? It's an absolutely heavenly dessert which we here at XXII love soo much that we've decided to give you a recipe!

CRust Ingredients:

· 2 cups of Graham crackers

· 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

· 2 tbsp of sugar

· 5 tbsp of unsalted butter

Filling ingredients:

· 2 pounds of cream cheese

· 4 eggs

· 2/3 cup of sour cream

· 1 1/3 cup of sugar

· 2 teaspoons of vanilla

· 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream

Crust Directions:

Take a mixing bowl and combine the ingredients with a fork until the moisture is evenly moistened. Then take an 8-inch spring form pan and coat with cooking spray. After, pour the crumbs into the pan and press down flat with the bottom of a measuring cup then refrigerate for 5 minutes.

Filling Directions:

In a bowl beat the cream cheese on low speed for 1 minute until all the lumps have disappeared. Then add the eggs in one at a time and add in sugar, sour cream and vanilla. Next pour the mixture into the crust lined pan.

After, set the cheesecake pan on a large piece of aluminum foil and fold up the sides around it. Put the cake pan into a large roasting pan and pour boiling water into the roasting pan until the water is halfway up the sides of the cheesecake pan. Bake the cake for 45 minutes. Afterwards let it cool in the pan for 30 minutes. Chill your cake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours and then voila!
